Sponsor a T-shirt

Imagine being pinned down when you don't want to be...
Imagine being undressed when you don't feel comfortable having your t-shirt taken off...
Imagine being held in an awkward position so that a nurse can access your Port-a-Cath or reach your Hickmann lines...
Doesn't sound like fun does it?, however this is the reality for so many children on a weekly basis (if not more often), when they need to be given medication, fluids, administered chemotherapy or to enable medical staff to draw blood. The child's access needs to be visible and especially for children with port-a-cath's, they are required to sit in a specific position as well as very, very still.
Having an accessible t-shirt means that all the child has to do is sit down, unzip the t-shirt and raise one arm in the air or above their head. This enables the nurse (or medical professional) to see, feel and access the port - or free a line in the case of the Hickmann - without all of the additional discomfort mentioned above.
By sponsoring an accessible t-shirt, you have the opportunity to contribute towards reducing a child's anxiety and discomfort while being accessed, therefore making the whole experience a much more positive one!
Not only have we seen how successful and functional these t-shirts have been for our own son, Niko, but we also have testimonies from other oncology families who now ensure they have theirs ready for clinic every week and they too are speechless with the difference a t-shirt has made (as am I every Monday!).
We offer a range of sponsorship options, allowing you to donate any amount from just £10!
Every sponsorship, regardless of the quantity gifted, will make an impact on the children or young adults who are fighting such huge battles. All sponsored t-shirts are made and sent at cost price. This enables us to ensure that every penny of your donation will go straight to those in need of some relief, as well as some extra smiles.

All of our accessible t-shirts are made to order so that we can ensure that every last detail suits the recipient. We make accessible t-shirts in a wide range of colours and they can be personalised with a huge range of licenced fonts and images as well as custom made designs. We guarantee that the recipient will be smiling from ear to ear as soon as they see their special t-shirt and hopefully will make that next clinic visit, a much less traumatic one!
If you are aware of a child, or young adult, fighting cancer, who you think would benefit from one of our t-shirts, and that extra smile, we encourage you to get in touch and nominate them!
